What you get back

By email, usually the same day.

  • The permitted route, traced turn by turn and checked against the permit's own mileage and exit list.
  • Every overpass on the route with its listed clearance against your load height, sorted into STOP/VERIFY TIGHT and WATCH.
  • Bridges to know about: narrow decks, load-posted, poor-condition and scour-critical bridges the load crosses.
  • Tight ramp turns measured from map geometry.
  • Permit rules on the map: curfews, required detours and scale houses placed at their mile.
  • A move-day timing plan with daylight windows.
  • Files for the cab: a Google Earth KML, a GPX that imports into InRoute, a Google Maps link, and a summary page that reads well on a phone.

What a clearance list looks like

SAMPLE ONLY: fictional route and numbers Not a real permit, road or bridge. Load height in this example: 14 ft 6 in.

Data sources: the FHWA National Bridge Inventory and OpenStreetMap, cross-checked against your permit.

Read this before you rely on it. Clearances are inventory minimums, not measured. A route survey does not replace a height-pole run or the day-of 511 check.

How ordering works

  1. Fill in the order form below, or email the permit and load details to support@nextgearwebservices.com.
  2. Email your permit PDF(s) with your order number.
  3. We confirm the order and send a payment request. We take card, Zelle or Venmo.
  4. Your survey arrives by email.

Turnaround

Same day for most routes when the permits arrive before noon Central.

One survey covers one state permit set and one load. A move through three states with three permits is three surveys.

Order a route survey

$99.99 per route. Nothing is charged here; we send a payment request when we confirm the order.
